The meeting was called to order at 7:01 PM, by Chairperson Margaret Liang. 1. Oral Communications 2.1 Public Comment – None. 3. Consent Calendar 3.1. Approval of the July 14, 2022 Heritage and Cultural Arts Commission Regular Meeting Minutes 3.2 Tri-Annual Parks and Community Services Department Report for May – August 2022 The Commission approved the Consent Calendar. RESULTS: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVED BY: Steve Minniear, Commission Member SECOND: Margaret Liang, Commission Chair AYES: Tomtania, Agrawal, Minniear, Blackburn, Gabriell, Liang Page 2 of 3 4. Unfinished Business 4.1 Dublin Transit Center Parking Garage Public Art Project Update Shaun Chilkotowsky, Heritage and Cultural Arts Manager provided an update of the Dublin Transit Center Parking Garage public art project. The Commission discussed the presentation and asked Staff follow up questions. 4.2 Little Library Temporary Public Art Program – Naming Tyler Phillips, Recreation Supervisor presented the potential names for the Little Library Temporary Public Art Program. The Commission gave feedback on potential names, discussed the editing of current names, suggested additional names, and suggested adding a location. The recommendation was made that Staff add a Little Library at the Camp Parks History Center to the plans. Commissioner, Steve Minniear, motioned to recommend the name “Go, Park, Read!” to Council. New Business – None. 6. Other Business Commissioners gave updates on various projects. 7. Adjournment Being no further business, the meeting was adjourned by Chairperson Margaret Liang at 8:00 PM.
