SPECIAL MEETING
June 29, 2023
A Special Meeting of the Youth Advisory Committee was held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at
the Dublin Senior Center. The meeting was called to order at 4:01 PM by Nicki Wanzenried,
Recreation Coordinator.

2.1) 2023-24 Youth Advisory Committee and Staff Introductions
The Staff and Committee Members made introductions and participated in some
welcome activities.

2.2) Rosenberg’s Rules of Order and Brown Act Training
The Committee received a report from the City Clerk, Marsha Moore, on Robert’s Rules
of Order and the Brown Act.
2.3) Election of 2023-24 Youth Advisory Committee Chairperson and Vice Chairperson
Nicki Wanzenried, Recreation Coordinator, presented an overview of the
responsibilities of the Youth Advisory Committee Chairperson and Vice Chairperson.
On a motion by Yma Santos, seconded by Neel KarurParekh, and by an 11-2 vote, the
Committee appointed Braden Ou as Chairperson.

On a motion by Danica Molnar, seconded by Neel KarurParekh, and by unanimous vote,
the Committee appointed Yma Santos as Vice Chairperson.

3) CONSENT CALENDAR
3.1) Approved May 24, 2023, Regular Youth Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes.
On a motion by Neel KarurParekh, seconded by Nithila Sadheesh, and by unanimous
vote, the Committee adopted the Consent Calendar.

The Committee participated in team building activities.
5.2) 2023-24 Youth Advisory Committee Work Plan
Nick Wanzenried, Recreation Coordinator, presented the 2023-24 Youth Advisory
Committee work plan for discussion.
6) OTHER BUSINESS
The Committee members and Staff provided brief information-only reports.
7) ADJOURNMENT
The chairperson adjourned the meeting at 7:28 PM.
