CALL TO ORDER AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG 2. REPORT ON CLOSED SESSION 3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS 3.1. Proclamation for Ned Yost Day, November 1, 2016 The City Council will present a proclamation for Ned Yost Day, November 1, 2016. STAFF RECOMMENDATION, Present the proclamation. 3.2. Public Comments At this time, the public is permitted to address the City Council on non-agendized items. Please step to the podium and clearly state your name for the record. COMMENTS SHOULD NOT EXCEED THREE (3) MINUTES. In accordance with State Law, no action or discussion may take place on any item not appearing on the posted agenda. The Council may respond to statements made or questions asked, or may request Staff to report back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Any member of the public may contact the City Clerk's Office related to the proper procedure to place an item on a future City Council agenda. The exceptions under which the City Council MAY discuss and/or take action on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in Government Code Section 54954.2(b)(1)(2)(3), 4. CONSENT CALENDAR —None. Consent Calendar items are typically non -controversial in nature and are considered for approval by the City Council with one single action. PUBLIC HEARINGS —None. 7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 7.1. Update on the Agreement with Cricket for Cubs The City Council will receive an update and review the final draft of the Agreement between the City of Dublin and Cricket for Cubs regarding construction of a batting cage facility at Emerald Glen Community Park. STAFF RECOMMENDATION, Receive the update, affirm the Agreement as drafted or provide direction to Staff. March 29, 2016 Dublin City Council Agenda Page 1 of 2 8. 11 NEW BUSINESS 8.1. Preliminary FY 201647 and FY 201748 Budget and Financial Plan, 10-Year General Fund Forecast Update, and Direction from City Council on Budget Preparation The purpose of the report is to provide the City Council with an overview of the preliminary two-year General Fund budget as well as the Five -Year Capital Improvement Program proposals. The City Council will also review the City's 10-year Financial Forecast. Staff is seeking the City Council's direction in preparing the budget. STAFF RECOMMENDATION, Provide Staff with direction in preparing the final FY 201647 and FY 201748 Budget and Financial Plan. 8.2. City Council Salary Options The City Council will discuss options regarding Councilmember salaries in the future. STAFF RECOMMENDATION. Discuss and provide direction to Staff regarding options for a possible adjustment to City Council salaries. 9. OTHER BUSINESS -Brief INFORMATION ONLY reports from Council and/or Staff, including Committee Reports and Reports by Council related to Meetings Attended at City Expense (AB1234). 10. ADJOURNMENT - In memory of Staff Sgt. Sean Diamond and our fallen troops.
