A Regular Meeting of the Heritage and Cultural Arts Commission was held on Thursday,
December 9, 2021, in the Council Chamber at Civic Center. The meeting was called to
order at 7:00 PM, by Chairperson Gina Gabriell.

5.1 Heritage Park Monument Art Selection
Tyler Phillips, Recreation Supervisor, presented the specifics of the item as outlined in
the Staff Report.

Three artists presented their design proposals to the Commission, Adan Romo, Brian
Keith and Jane DeDecker.
The Commission discussed the proposals and choose to recommend Brian Keith’s
design proposal with additions to the City Council.

5.2 Heritage Park Artistic Park Features Art Selection
Tyler Phillips, Recreation Supervisor, presented the specifics of the item as outlined in
the Staff Report.
One artist presented their design proposal, Adan Romo.
The Commission discussed the design proposal and choose to recommend Adan
Romo’s design with changes to the City Council.
