1. CALL TO ORDER

At this time, the public is permitted to address the Youth Advisory Committee on non-agendized items. The Committee
must, however, comply with all State Laws in regard to items not appearing on the posted agenda. The Committee may
respond to statements made or questions asked, or may request Staff to report back at a future meeting concerning the
matter. Any member of the public may contact the Parks and Community Services Department related to the proper
procedure to place an item on a future Youth Advisory Committee agenda. The exceptions under which the Youth
Advisory Committee MAY discuss and/or take action on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in GC
54954.2(b)(1)(2)(3).
4. MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING—September 8, 1998
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:APPROVE
5. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS-NONE
6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
6.1 Club Groove Evaluation
The Committee will review and evaluate the Club Groove Dance.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:Receive report and provide input
6.2 98/99 Activities Calendars
The Committee will review and discuss the calendar that has all local middle and high school events,
holidays,Friday Night Live and Y.A.C.meetings and events.

7. NEW BUSINESS
7.1 Youth Advisory Committee Elections
The Committee will conduct elections for a Committee Chair and Vice-Chair.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: ELECT CHAIRPERSON AND VICE-CHAIRPERSON
7.2 Goals and Objectives for 1998/99
The Committee will review and discuss goals and objectives for the next Y.A.C.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive report and provide input
7.3 Ski and Snoivboardin2 Trip
The Committee will review and discuss the logistics for the upcomming Ski and Snowboarding trip.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive report and provide input
8. OTHER BUSINESS
