DUBLIN CITY COUNCILDUBLIN CITY COUNCIL
REGULAR MEETING - Tuesday, December 3, 1996, 7:00 p.m.
DUBLIN CIVIC CENTER, 100 Civic Plaza
A complete packet of information containing Staff Reports and exhibits related to each
item is available for public review several days prior to a Council meeting in the City
Clerk’s Office and also at the Dublin Library.

3.ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
At this time, the public is permitted to address the City Council on non-agendized items. The
Council must, however, comply with all State Laws in regard to items not appearing on the
posted agenda. The Council may respond to statements made or questions asked, or may request
Staff to report back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Any member of the public may
contact the City Clerk’s Office related to the proper procedure to place an item on a future City
Council agenda. The exceptions under which the City Council MAY discuss and/or take action on
items not appearing on the agenda are contained in Government Code Section 54954.2(b)(1)(2)(3).

6.PUBLIC HEARING
6.1Continued Public Hearing on Realignment of the Established Right-Of-Way Line for a New Road
Parallel to and south of Dublin Boulevard between Golden Gate Drive and Regional Street (the
Parallel Road)
This item was continued from the Council meeting of November 4, 1996 to this date. As the City
Council regular meeting items have been moved to an adjourned meeting on December 4, 1996, it is
necessary to continue this public hearing to December 4, 1996.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Open public hearing; receive Staff Report; & Continue Public Hearing
to December 4, 1996.

8.NEW BUSINESS
8.1Certification of November 5, 1996 Election Results
The City has received the Election results for the Offices of Mayor and Councilmember and
Measure Y, the City’s Term Limit Measure from the County Registrar of Voters.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: 1) Adopt Resolution declaring results of November 5, 1996 General
Municipal Election; 2) Declare Ordinance providing for Term Limits for the Office of Mayor and
Councilmembers duly adopted by the people (to be effective on December 13, 1996).
8.2Presentation of Plaque to Councilmember Moffatt in recognition of 15 years of service on the Dublin
City Council
9.OTHER BUSINESS

11ADJOURNMENT

This meeting will adjourn to a reception in the Regional Meeting Room to honor outgoing Councilmember
WednesdayDecember4th
Moffatt. A reception will be held on , , beginning at 6:00 p.m., in the Regional
Meeting Room to welcome and congratulate the new City Council. An adjourned regular meeting will follow at
7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers. The next regular meeting of the Dublin City Council will be on Tuesday,
December 17, 1996 at 7:00 p.m.
