The purpose of the study session is to review the revised preliminary
general plan land use map for East Dublin. The revisions are based on
the comments received at the previous East Dublin workshops. This
land use concept is being prepared for purposes of environmental
review and analysis and is not the final land use plan for East
Dublin. At tonight's study session, the public, Commission and
Council can comment on the map and desired changes will be noted.
After this meeting, the consultant will proceed to the next phase of
the East Dublin study: preparation of the General Plan Amendment,
Specific Plan and Environmental Impact Report. This study session is
an opportunity for public involvement as required by Government Code
Section 65351.
