RECOMMENDATION \1V ~V Accept Gift
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: The estimated value of the gift is $800
DESCRIPTION : The Dublin Senior Center was recently presented
with the following gift from an anonymous donor:
vivitar 300AF Slide Projector (estimated value $200)
Bi-Folkal 7 Volume "Slideas" (estimated value $600)
Bi-Folkal Productions, Inc. is a non-profit corporation which creates
opportunities and resources for older adults to remember and to share
their stories with others. Each volume of Bi-Folkal "Slideas"
(slides and ideas) includes twenty slides of a selected topic, a
script to read with the slides and ideas to expand the program into a
whole series. The topics are chosen to prompt memories and include
subjects such as favorite toys, heroes, seasons, weddings, vacations
and special days.
Per Government Code section 37354, it is recommended that
and contributions be formally accepted by the city
Therefore it is the recommendation of Staff that the city
accept the gift.
