FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION The City has received a letter from Fred Roberts,
Manager of the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement
District indicating that the term of the City ' s
representative on the District ' s Board of Trustees
will expire on January 2 , 1984 . Dr. Harvey Scudder is
Dublin ' s current representative on the Board of
Trustees .
Mr. Roberts has requested that the City appoint a
representative to the Board for the term commencing
January 2 , 1984 . The City Council has the option of
reappointing Dr . Scudder who has indicated a
willingness to serve for another term or to appoint a
new representative to the District ' s Board of
Trustees .

Dear Mayor and Council Members :
The Board of Trustees of the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement Dis-
trict instructed me at their meeting of October 26 , 1983 to notify
you that the term of office of Dr . Harvey Scudder expires January 2,
1984 . We respectfully request an appointment be made prior to the
expiration date for the two-year term of trustee of this District
representing the City of Dublin .
Dr . Scudder has served on our Board since August 2 , 1982 and his
professional expertise in the field of insects is of great value to
the District .
We shall appreciate your sending us a certified copy of your resolution
appointing your trustee to our Board for the term ending January 2,
1986 .
