Professional Secretaries Week, originated and sponsored by
Professional Secretaries International (formerly NSA) since its
inception in 1952, will be observed April 18 -24, 1982. Professional
Secretaries Day is Wednesday, April 21. The Las Positas Chapter of
PSI is in charge, locally, of Professional Secretaries Week
activities. This chapter includes secretaries employed in Dublin,
Pleasanton, Livermore and San Ramon businesses. In recognition of
Professional Secretaries Week we would appreciate the Dublin City
Council issuing a proclamation designating April 18 -24, 1982 as
Professional Secretaries Week. To assist you I have enclosed a copy
of the proclamation issued in 1981 by the Pleasanton City Council to
the Las Positas Chapter.
The regular dinner meeting of the Las Positas Chapter of the
Professional Secretaries International will be held on Thursday, -
April 22 at the Dublin Corral. You are invited to attend this
meeting as a guest of the Las Positas Chapter to present this
proclamation to the membership. (Dinner hour will be at 7 p.m.)
Please notify me if you or a representative of your office will be
attending.
