DESCRIPTION: The City Council introduced this ordinance at its meeting of
May 24, 1982. This ordinance amends Ordinance No. 3 by adding urgency language
to that ordinance.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3
IMPOSING A DOCUMENTARY TRANSFER TAX ON
TRANSFERS OF REAL PROPERTY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 AMENDMENT
Section 10 is hereby added to Ordinance No. 3 and it shall con-
tain the following language: "This ordinance shall take
effect immediately as an urgency ordinance. The urgency is
due to the fact that the City of Dublin, being newly incorpo-
rated, needs revenues to meet the costs to be immediately
incurred for the preservation of the public peace, health and
welfare of the City' s residents . "
PASSED AND. ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Dublin on this day of , 1982 , by the follow-
ing votes.
