Formal Acknowledgment to Health Net
FINANCIAL STATEMENT : None
DESCRIPTION Health Net, a California health insurance com-
pany would like to sponsor a dessert for the Senior Center's annual
holiday luncheon. The Senior Center Director has indicated that the
cost of a cheesecake dessert would be $91.04 and, consequently, Health
Net has submitted a check to cover the cost of the desserts.
,Per Government Code Section 37354, it is recommended that all gifts
and contributions be formally accepted by the City Council.
Therefore it is recommended that the City Council accept the gifts
and direct Staff to prepare a formal acknowledgment to Health Net.
