Accept Gifts and Direct Staff to Prepare VV Formal Acknowledgment to the Donors FINANCIAL STATEMENT : None DESCRIPTION : The city was recently presented with several gifts for use in Recreation Department programs and facilities. Dublin Senior Center Mrs. Setsuko Nakazawa has donated two belt sanders for the Center's wood shop. Mrs. Nakazawa is a participant in the wood shop and wishes to express her appreciation for the Center and it's programs through this donation. Belt Sander (1 x 30) Combination 4" Belt Sander and 6" Disc Sander Sanding Belts and Grit Cards Shipping, Handling and Tax Total Value of Gifts $ 60.00 $ 80.00 $ 27.00 S 18.00 $185.00 Shannon Community Center The Women's Club of DUblin has donated a stainless steel serving cart for use by the city and for individuals or groups who rent the Center. The approximate value of the gift is $500. Per Government Code Section 37354, it is recommended that all gifts and contributions be formally accepted by the city Council.
