FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
llESCRIPTION . The designation of Lee Thompson of Santina & Thornpson
as City Engineer was effective on February l, 1983.
The City Attorney has ruled that although the City
Engineer is an indeperident contractor, he is still an
official ot the City and must be subject to Lhe
City's Conflict of Interest Code.
The City Attorney has prepared an ordinance arnending
the City's present Conflict of lnterest Code for the
City's Administrative Code. It is Staff's recommen-
dation that the attached ordinance be introduced.

AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 18 BY
ADDING THE CITY ENGINEER
AS A STAFF POSITION COVERED BY THE CONFLICT
OF INTEREST CODE FOR THE.ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF
OF 'THE CI'TY OF''DUF3LI:N'';
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l AMENDMENT
AppendiX A of Ordinance No. 18 is hereby amended
by adding thereto CITY ENGINEER as a Designated Position and
by adding the number 2 as the Disclosure Category for said
position.
SECTION 2 EFFECT; POSTING
This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
after the date of its adoption, and prior to the expiration
of fif teen .(15) days freim the passage thereof, the City Clerk
of the City of Dublin shall cause this Ordinance to be posted
in at least three (3) public places in the City of Dublin in
accordance with Section 38933 of the Government Code of the
State of California.
