FINANCIAL STATEMENT: The designation of the Subcommittee has no financial impact. The complete Audit and Financial Report will be presented to the full City Council at a future meeting. .. DESCRIPTION: The independent auditors from the firm of Maze & Associates have completed the work required to publish the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the year ending June 30, 1995. In the past the City Council has established an ad-hoc subcommittee to review the report with the Auditors. The subcommittee last year consisted of Mayor Houston and Councilmember Moffatt. Typically once the subcommittee has had an opportunity to review the report and discuss any issues with the Auditors, Staff prepares an item for action by the entire City Council at a public meeting. Once a subcommittee is designated Staff will contact the Auditors to identify potential meeting dates and times. Staff would recommend that two members of the City Council be designated as an ad-hoc subcommittee, to meet with the City Auditors to review and discuss the report for the period ending June 30, 1995. . .. ------------------------------------------------------------------- COPIES TO: G\agenda\agendpsr.doc ITEMNO.~
