The first was a new Weber Kettle Barbecue donated by Target stores of Dublin. The barbecue is valued at approximately $65. The second was a $216 check from the United Way of Santa Clara County. The funds were from Ms. Robin Andrew who works for Nitto Denko America. Ms. Andrew is the niece of one of the senior participants at the Center. The $216 donation will be retained in a liability account time that there is an identified project or need to funds. The appropriate budget change form will be brought City Council when this occurs. Per Government Code section 37354, it is recommended that all gifts and contributions be formally accepted by the city council.
