Dear Mr. Geahoe:
This is to apprise you and your City's officials of a
contemplated project to construct a five-foot wide side-
walk on the easterly side of San Ramon Road/Foothill Road
between Canyon Way in Pleasanton and Dublin Boulevard in
Dublin, - The work will be within the State right of way
except for a portion in Pleasanton near Canyon Way. The
project was proposed by the City of Pleasanton because of
increasing pedestrian travel through the interchange to
the Stoneridge Regional Shopping Center. The City of
Pleasanton will bear the cost and expense of the portion
of work. required outside the State right of way. It is
expected that the contract for constructing the facility
will he awarded before July 1982.
A copy of a letter-size location map is attached.
