DESC~P~ON: On J~e 15, 1999, ~e Co~cil dkected St~tO_s~dy alternative
improvements needed to provide h~dicapped access to B~T ~om Doughe~ Road ~ response to a
cifi~n request. S~ ~yzed sever~ options, M~ ~e follo~g results:

2) Dial-a-fide service for people with disabilities.
In compliance with the Americans with Di'sabili~ieS~X~t~-LX~TX"~ff~ii~'Di!~_~izX~:~i~'~$
people with disabilities. This service i~ r area
charge of $1.00 per ride. in Order to qualify filled Out and
approved by'LAVTA.' There is currently high demand for service and it can take up t° tWo weeks to
schedule a ride. Service is being

The cOSt to provide this handicapped hCcess via Scarlett Court is estimated at $20,~000.
Staff believes that Option #3 will best serve the citizens of the City of Dublin and th0se'Who commute to
