DESCRIPTION The City has received a letter from the Dublin Chamber
of Commerce inviting the City to participate as a
member of the Chamber. The annual membership fee
would be $200/year.

Dear Council Members :
As the new 1983 President of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce,
my theme for the year is "communication". I feel it is extremely
important for the Chamber Members to be aware of issues and events
affecting the Dublin business community.
The City of Dublin and the Chamber of Commerce should work
closely together to create a mutual line of communication for,
the benefit of all.
I am aware that several Council people are Dublin Chamber
of Commerce Members either as individuals or businesses . However,
I feel it is important for the City of Dublin, as a government
agency, be a Member of the Chamber of Commerce. Therefore, I
am personally extending an invitation to the City of Dublin to
join the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. The membership fee for a
government agency is $200. 00 per year. I urge you to consider
this matter as soon as possible .
