RECOMMENDATION Authorize City Manager' s attendance at the
International City Management Association Conference
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: Approximate Cost - $1,500. Sufficient funds are
included in the budget for this conference.
DESCRIPTION The International City Management Association ( ICMA)
Conference is being held in Philadelphia, PA from October 27-31, 1985.
The purpose of this conference is to build and develop the organization and
development skills of the Manager. The City Manager ' s attendance at this
conference and participation in this organization also provides an
opportunity to promote the City.
The conference will last approximately 5 days and cost $1, 500.
It is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager' s
attendance at this conference.
