FINANCIAL STATEMENT:
Minimal cost for curb painting.
DESCRIPTION: Shamrock' Ford, Chrysler, Plymouth has
requested no parking areas (red curb) on Amador Plaza Road to
improve sight distance and safety at their driveways, and a
loading zone (yellow curb) to allow auto transport trucks to
unload without double parking on Amador Plaza Road.
The owner of Shamrock Ford indicates that there is plenty of on-
site parking for their customers and employees. Typically car
dealers don't have an on site space for cars to be unloaded.
In accordance with the City's traffic ordinance, it is necessary
for the City to adopt an ordinance in order to establish no
parking in these areas. If the City Council adopts this
ordinance, a total of nine on-street parking spaces would be
removed on Amador Plaza Road.

ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS
The City Council of the City of Dublin does ordain as follows:
Section 1. NO PARKING ZONES:
Article 7, relating to "No Parking Zones": of the Alameda
County Ordinance Code previously adopted by the City of Dublin is
amended by the addition of Sections 295.30, 295.4 (Amador Plaza
Road and 295.5, 295.6 (Regional Street) to read:
6-288.86 Amador Plaza Road
On the east curbline from a point 20 feet north of
the north curbline of Dublin Boulevard, north a
distance of 184 feet; on the east curbline from a
point 353 feet north of the north curbline of
Dublin Boulevard, north a distance of 30~feet.
Section 2. LOADING ZONES:
As adopted by the City of Dublin in Ordinance 13-82;
Title 6 - Vehicles and Traffic, Chapter 1 - Traffic Regulations,
Article 10 - Loading Zones, shall be amended to include the
following:
6-410.4 Amador Plaza Road
On the east curbline from a point 241 feet north
of Dublin Boulevard, north a distance of 76 feet.
Section 3. IMMEDIATE EFFECT
This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
enactment because the adoption and immediate effect thereof is
necessary in order to protect vehicular and pedestrian safety.
Section 4. POSTING OF ORDINANCE
The City Clerk of the City of Dublin shall cause this
ordinance to be posted in at least three (3) public places in the
City of Dublin in accordance with Section 36933 of the Government
Code of the State of California.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Dublin on this 23rd day of September, 1985 by the following
