DESCRIPTION : At the December 9, 1991 meeting of the Dublin
city Council, the Council awarded the bid for the Nielsen and Cronin
School Play Area Improvements to A-1 Fencing and Playground. As the
bid for the Nielsen School Play Area came in $25,156.52 under the
budget, and since the Parent Faculty Club is contributing $11,000
towards the project, they have asked the city to consider adding
additional equipment to the project.
Staff has received a quote from the contractor for adding the
following equipment to the play area:
Additional 1' Deck $1,350.00
Fire Pole From 4" Deck $ 292.00
Climber $ 900.00
TOTAL $2,542.00
As there are sufficient funds available within the budget, Staff
recommends that the city Council approve the additional equipment and
direct Staff to negotiate a change order with the contractor.
