RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt resolution revising underground
deadlines.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT:
None.
DESCRIPTION:
The project to underground, the overhead utilities along
Dublin Blvd. from 1-680 to San Ramon Road is behind schedule.
On December 10, 1984, the City Council adopted Resolution
No. 127-84, which required the property owners to be ready to
receive underground utility service by December 1, 1985, and
which ordered the undergrounding of utilities by March 1, 1986.
Since the project is behind schedule, it is necessary to modify
the previously approved dates as follows:
1)
Property owners be ready to receive underground service
by March 31, 1986 (previously December. l, 1985).
2)
Removal of and underground installation of overhead
utilities by May 30, 1986 (previously March 1, 1986).
Property owners within the district are being noticed of
this proposed change and will be notified by mail of this change
if approved.

NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNERS REGARDING DUBLIN BLVD.
UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT
Pacific Bell has experienced problems in undergrounding their
portion of the overhead facilities within the Dublin Blvd. Underground
Utility District Number 1 and has requested an extension of the pole
removal to May 30, 1986.
This request was approved by the Dublin City Council at their
regular meeting on February 10, 1986, at the Dublin Library, 7606
Amador Valley Blvd., at 7:30 p.m.
A copy of the resolution approving this change is attached.
