Molina. RECOMMENDATION :Accept the Treasurer's Investment Report. Attached is the Investment detail list as of June 30, 1991. The report shows that the City's investment portfolio totals $16,905,000. This is a decrease of $400,000 in amounts invested when compared to the City's investments of last. month. The decrease is due to the extra warrant register issued for the annual debt service payments of the San Ramon Assessment District plus the $685,323.80 check issued in June to Alameda County Treasurer's Office for Police services for the third quarter. Note that the rate of interest on investments in the Local Agency Investment Fund (LAIF) is calculated on a monthly rolling average. The rate identified for that investment was effective for the moving quarter average ending June 30, 1991. The Fund pays interest once a quarter. It is managed by the State Treasurer's Office. The advantage in using this investment mechanism is that there is no minimum investment period, and the interest earned is determined by the length of time the deposit remains in the fund during any given quarter period. The maturity schedule of the City's investments will permit the City to meet its expenditure requirement for the following month. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- COPIES TO: 3D' 00 ITEM NO. 1*4 w City of Dublin City Treasurer's Investment Report June 30, 1991 interest Institution Type of Amount rate of maturity Investment invested investment date State Treasurer LAIF $10,000,000.00 7.413 0 0 0 1 Palomar Savings c-d $99,000.00 8.500 7 16 91 2 Southern California Sc-d $95,000.00 7.500 7 23 91 3 Valley Federal S&L(5)c-d $99,000.00 8.750 7 24 91 4 Pacific First Bank c-d $99,000.00 8.500 7 25 91 5 Conerstone Bank c-d $99,000.00 8.300 7 26 91 6 Bank of Pleasanton c-d $100,000.00 8.450 7 31 91 7 Torrance S&L c-d $99,000.00 8.400 8 6 91 8 Bank of Beverly Hi11sc-d $99,000.00 7.100 8 19 91 9 Plaza S&LA c-d $99,000.00 8.450 8 21 91 10 U.S.Community S Bank c-d $99,000.00 8.250 8 21 91 11 Summitt S&LA c-d $99,000.00 8.400 8 21 91 12 American Commerce Banc-d $99,000.00 8.350 8 22 91 13 Mission Viejo N.B. c-d $99,000.00 8.300 8 22 91 14.
