Vient. This project consisted of painting the entire exterior of the Shannon Community Center and the light poles in the parking lot. During the course of construction, it was discovered that the specification inadvertently omitted the final coat for the parking lot light standards. Change Order No. 1 provided for that work. M.C.E. Corporation performed some preparatory repair work before D.C. Vient began work on the painting contract. Part of that repair included providing new sheet metal caps for the columns on the bridge that leads into the building. Work on Contract 91-04 has been completed in accordance with approved plans and specifications and to the satisfaction of the Public Works Director. Staff recommends that the City Council accept the improvements, authorize final payment to D.C. Vient in the amount of $753.00, and authorize a budget transfer in the amount of $45.50 from the Contingent Reserve. a:(bldgs)~shannon~final ITEM NO. ~ COPIES TO: D. C, Vient
