FINANCIAL STATEMENT : None
DESCRIPTION The City's Preschool Program and Senior Center
have received generous gifts from members of the community. Gifts to
the Preschool Program are as follows: Dublin Resident Sherry Heacox
has donated a Quasar 700 watt microwave oven with stand; Rebecca
Toulouse, also of Dublin, has donated $300 which represents a personal
donation in addition to the proceeds from a Tupperware sales
fundraiser; and Jerry Bush of Lucky Pizza in Dublin has donated $140
which represents the proceeds from a Pizza Night fundraiser. Senior
Center Supporter Setsuko Nakazawa has donated $100 for use at the
Senior Center.
Per Government Code Section 37354, it is recommended that all gifts
and contributions be formally accepted by the City Council.
Therefore it is the recommendation of Staff that the City Council
accept the gifts and direct Staff to prepare a formal acknowledgment
to the donors.
