FINANCIAL STATEMENT: The total amount claimed - $30,000. Actual medical
expenses - $201 .60 plus an undetermined amount for
services at Kaiser.
DESCRIPTION On December 5 , 1985 the City of Dublin received a
claim submitted on behalf of Timothy Simpson.
The claim alleges that Timothy fell into a hole which did not have
barricades. This resulted in a laceration to his forearm requiring
stitches . The claim appears to be associated with construction performed by
Redgwick Construction for the City of Dublin. The project included the
extension of Amador Valley Boulevard and frontage improvements along San
Ramon Road.
Staff recommends that the City Council deny the claim and direct Staff to
notify the City' s Insurance Broker and the claimant .
