DESCRIPTION: At its meeting of August 26, 1991, the City Council
authorized Staff to advertise for bids for Contract 91-06, the Annual Striping and
Marking Contract.
The City received one bid (see attached bid summary) for this project. The low
bidder was chrisp Company with a bid of $61,890. Although only one hid was
received, Staff recommends acceptance of this bid since it is within the budget
parameters and the bid documents were in order.
Staff has reviewed the low bidder's proposal, and in view of Chrisp Co.'s
satisfactory completion of the 1990-91 Annual Striping and Marking Contract,
recommends that the City Council adopt the resolution awarding the bid to Chrisp Co.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
AWARDING CONTRACT 91-06 TO CHRISP CO.
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin did, on September 17, 1991,
publicly open, examine, and declare all sealed bids for doing the work
described in the approved Plans, Specifications, and Modifications for
Contract 91-06 authorized by the City Council on August 26, 1991,
which Plans, Specifications, and Modifications are hereby expressly
referred to for a description of said work and for all particulars
relative to the proceedings under the request for bids; and
WHEREAS, said bids were submitted to the City Engineer, who
has recommended that the bid hereinafter mentioned is the lowest and
best bid for doing said work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Dublin does hereby award City of Dublin Contract 91-06 to the
lowest responsible bidder therefor, to wit Chr£sp Company, at a bid of
$61,890, the particulars of which are on file in the office of the
City Engineer.
