The Median Paver Repair project is budgeted in the General Fund (001).
DESCRIPTION: Median Paver Repair project will re-set paver stones in raised
medians that have sunken or been displaced by tree roots. The scope of work includes removing existing
paver stones, trimming tree roots, installing root barriers as necessary, reconstructing headers at tree wells,
and re-setting existing pavers to grade.
Locations of paver repair will be in medians on the following major arterial streets: Dublin Boulevard
from San Ramon Road to Dougherty Road, Areadot Valley Boulevard from San Ramon Road to
Dougherty Road and Village Parkway from Amador Valley Boulevard north to City Limit Line at
Kimball Avenue. The work in the Village Parkway median between Dublin Boulevard and Amador
Valley Boulevard is being postponed until the redevelopment study is completed for this same area.
Staff recommends that the City Council authorize solicitation of bids for the Median Paver Repair project.
