FINANCIAL STATEMENT: Approximate cost - $1400 . Sufficient funds
are included in the budget for this
conference.
DESCRIPTION:
The American Planning Association (APA) National Planning
Conference is being held in Denver, Colorado on April 21 through 25,
1990 .
The purpose of the conference is to build and develop the
planning skills of the Planning Director. The Planning Director will
be given the opportunity to learn new planning techniques and to
discuss planning solutions with other planners from across the nation.
Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the Planning
Director' s attendance at this conference .
