FINANCIAL STATEMENT
Deputy Sheriff II - $76,925

adopted 1994/95 budget
DESCRIPTION On June 21, 1994, the city council
adopted the 1994/95 Annual Budget. Included in the budget was
funding for two additional positions for Police Services. The
adopted higher service level established one additional Patrol
Officer and one Sheriff's Technician. The Patrol Officer
position will increase staffing resources in the Patrol Division
as well as the Investigation Division.
The current agreement for Police Services with Alameda County
specifies the staffing level in an attached Exhibit A. On an
annual basis the city can request that the service level be
modified. Staff has prepared a revised Exhibit A, which will
reflect the service level adopted in the 1994/95 budget.
CONCLUSION
Staff recommends the City council adopt the Resolution approving
an Amended Exhibit "A" to the current agreement. This action
will modify the staffing as included in the adopted 1994/95
budget.

RESOLUTION NO. 94-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN

RESOLUTION AMENDING STAFFING IDENTIFIED
IN THE AGREEMENT WITH ALAMEDA COUNTY FOR
ENFORCEMENT OF STATE LAWS AND CITY ORDINANCES
WHEREAS, the Alameda County Sheriff's Department provides
municipal Police Services to the City of Dublin; and
WHEREAS, such services are described in an agreement dated
July 28, 1992; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement contains an Exhibit A which reflects
the number of personnel assigned pursuant to the terms of the
agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to modify Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the modification will add one Patrol Officer (Deputy
Sheriff II) and one Sheriff's Technician; and
WHEREAS, Sheriff's Department representatives concur with the
proposed additional staffing; and
WHEREAS, the change will enhance the provision of adequate
policy enforcement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Dublin does hereby amend the agreement mentioned above by
substituting Exhibit A (1994), attached hereto and by reference
made a part hereof, for Exhibit A in the current agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this change
shall be July 1, 1994. The City Manager shall request that Alameda
County Sheriff's Department proceed with implementation of this
change as provided for in the Agreement.
