DESCRIPTION: At the December 17, 1996 meeting of the Dublin City Council, the
Council awarded Contract 96-09, the Dublin Swim Center Chlorine Conversion Project, to Pool Scene.
The project provided for the removal and disposal of the gas chlorine system and related equipment, and
installation of a chemical automation system, calcium hypochlorite sanitizer system, muratic acid pH
control system, and diatomaceous earth slurry tank. The total cost of the project was $19,257.
The City Engineer has reviewed the work on the project and determined that it is complete and in
accordance with the approved specifications. Therefore it is recommended that the City Council accept
the improvements constructed under Contract 96-09 and authorize payment to Pool Scene in the amount
of $19,257.
