FINANCIAL STATEMENT:
Low bid received - $370,736
Amount budgeted for construction - $460,000, which
includes $27,250 for water services paid for outside
this contract
-nESCRIPTION : The City Council had previously authorized Staff to
dvertise for bids for Contract #85-2, Landscaping & Irrigation of Dublin
Boulevard, Amador Valley Boulevard and Village Parkway, at such time as the
major street construction project was nearing completion. This project will
provide street trees and median landscaping, including raised paving stone
planters on Village Parkway.
The original scope of this project was shortened on the east end of Amador
Valley Boulevard due to median configuration changes necessary and
identified within the Amador Valley Boulevard traffic study. The major
change included work east of Amador Plaza Road due to a future signal at
this location.
Landscaping of this area between Amador Plaza Road and Village Parkway will
be completed with that .signal project. This landscaping project will be
completed in approximately 4 months.
