The Dublin Parks and Community Services Department has received
a gift of twelve new youth size batting helmets and six mini soccer goals. The sports equipment is a gift
from Tri-Valley YMCA. The soccer goals and helmets will be used in Department sponsored youth
sports camps and after school program at Wells Middle School. The helmets will be used in the tee-ball
program.
Per Government Code Section 37354, it is recommended that all gifts and contributions be formally
accepted by the City Council. Therefore, it is the recommendation of Staff that the City Couricil accept
the gift and direct Staff to prepare a formal acknowledgment to Tri-Valley YMCA.
