FINANCIAL STATEMENT:
No cost associated with approval of street names
DESCRIPTION: At the time that the Final Map for Tract 6979 was approved by the
City Council, street names for the private streets had not yet been reviewed by adjacent cities, the County,
emergency services, and the postal service as required by the Municipal Code. Therefore, the map was
approved with streets identified by letter designation such as "Parcel B." The review has now been
completed, and the proposed street names are available for approval by the City Council. The streets that
were accepted as public streets, a portion of Tassajara Road, Casterson Drive, and Creekview Drive,
would retain the names that were approved on the Final Map.

architecture of the development.
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the resolution approving the street names as listed and as
shown on the location map.

RESOLUTION NO. - 99
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN

APPROVAL OF NEW STREET NAMES
FOR STREETS IN TRACT 6979
WHEREAS, the Final Map for Tract 6979 was approved by the Dublin City Council on
November 3, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the private streets within Tract 6979 were identified with temporary letters which are
proposed to be replaced with permanent street names; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Dublin Municipal Code, surrounding cities, Alameda County,
emergency services, and the U.S. Postal Service have been notified and have not objected to the proposed
names;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Dublin City Council approves the street name
designations as follows and as shown on the map "Exhibit A".
