The City has received a letter from Fred C.
of the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District
Harvey Scudder's term of office will expire on
Dr. Scudder has served on this Board since August of
Mayor Snyder has discussed this issue with Dr. Scudder, and Dr.
Scudder has indicated a willingness to continue to serve in this
capacity. His new term will run until January 2, 1996. Mayor Snyder
recommends that the City Council adopt the attached Resolution
appointing Dr. Harvey Scudder to another 2-year term on the Mosquito
Abatement District Board of Trustees.

Dear Mayor and Council Members:
The Board of Trustees of the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement
District instructed me at their meeting of October 13, 1993, to notify
you that the term of office of Dr. Harvey Scudder expires January 2,
1994. We respectfully request an appointment be made prior to the
expiration date for the two-year term of trustee of this District
representing tyhe City of Dublin.
Dr. Scudder has served on our Board since August 2, 1983. His
professional expertise in the fields of entomology and public health
is of great value to the District.
We shall appreciate your sending us a certified copy of your
resolution appointing your trustee to our Board for the term ending
January 2, 1996.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN

MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE
ALAMEDA COUNTY MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
WHEREAS, the city of Dublin is authorized to appoint one
member of the Board of Trustees of the Alameda County Mosquito
Abatement District; and
WHEREAS, the term for the current appointee expires on
January 2, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the term of this appointment shall be from
January 3, 1994 through January 2, 1996; and
WHEREAS, Mayor snyder has recommended that Dr. Harvey
Scudder be re-appointed to this new term.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
city of Dublin does hereby appoint Harvey I. Scudder, Ph.D., as
Board of Directors Trustee representing the city of Dublin on the
Mosquito Abatement District.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the city Clerk shall forward a
certified copy of this Resolution to the Alameda County Mosquito
Abatement District.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of December, 1993
