RECOMMENDATION Note receipt and file pending formal reply from City
of San Ramon
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION The City has received a reply from the Dublin San Ramon
Services District regarding the City' s request for a
joint meeting. Staff from the City of San Ramon has
contacted Staff and indicated that the San Ramon City
Council has tentatively agreed to meet , and will send a
formal reply to the City in September after the full
San Ramon City Council has had an opportunity to meet .

Dear Pete :
Last night our Board of Directors reviewed your letter
regarding a joint meeting to discuss changing the organiza-
tion of our District. We feel that it would be inappropriate
to have the City of Pleasanton participate in such an under-
taking , since our only relationship with the City is of a
contractual nature (sewage) and is therefore no different
than our contractual relationships with other neighboring
public jurisdictions . Our Board would prefer that initial
meetings be held at the committee level , rather than attempt-
ing to have fifteen elected people from three agencies
trying to sort out the various concerns .
Please call me regarding arrangements for the proposed
meeting.
