RESOLUTION NO. - 96
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
RECOGNIZING EDWARD CAMPBELL'S SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY
WHEREAS, Edward Campbell has served on the Alameda County Board of Supervisors for
twelve years; and
WHEREAS, Edward Campbell served as Chairperson of the Board of Supervisors from 1987
until 1989 and President of the Board of Supervisors from 1993 until 1995; and
WHEREAS, these years of service have been marked by exemplary dedication to the best
interests of the community especially in the areas of transportation, land use planning; and solid waste
having served on such agencies as LAFCO, LAVTA; MTC, TWA, and Alameda County Waste
Management Authority to name only a few; and
WHEREAS, a retirement banquet will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 1997 at 6:00 p.m. at the
Satellite building on the Alameda County Fairgrounds; and
WHEREAS, such distinguished and extensive service to the community should not go
unrecognized.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Dublin City Council wishes to take this
opportunity to recognize the accomplishments and service which Edward Campbell has rendered to the
community and wish him well in his retirement.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of December, 1996.
