DESCRIPTION : On June 12 , 1985 , the 1985-86 Preliminary Budget and
Financial Plan was delivered to the City Council and made available to the
general public . In accordance with state law and Revenue Sharing
Regulations , a summary of the 1985-86 budget and the City' s proposed use of
Revenue Sharing funds was published in a newspaper of general circulation.
The City is required by law to conduct a public hearing for consideration of
the City' s annual budget and the expenditure of _ Revenue Sharing for the
upcoming year. As indicated in the 1985-86 Preliminary Budget , it is
recommended that the City Council authorize the expenditure of $275 , 260 in
Revenue Sharing funds for Police Services .
It is recommended that the City. Council follow the format identified below
regarding its consideration of the 1985-86 Preliminary Budget and use of
Revenue Sharing funds :
1) Receive Staff presentation on 1985-86 Preliminary Budget
. 2) Open Public .Hearing
3 ) Review individual budget activities
4) Consider use of Revenue Sharing funds
5 ) Close Public Hearing
6) Adopt Resolution approving the City ' s 1985-86 Budget

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF DUBLIN
FOR FISCAL YEAR 19$5-86
WHEREAS , the Dublin City Council is desirous of
establishing an annual budget and financial plan for Fiscal Year
1985-86; and
• WHEREAS , the Dublin City Council has reviewed and
considered budget documents and has received input from the
public .
NOW THEREFORE , the Dublin City Council does hereby find,
determine , declare and resolve as follows :
1 ) The Dublin City Council does hereby adopt the 1985-86
Budget for the City of Dublin; such Budget is attached hereto and
made a part hereof .
2) The City Manager is hereby authorized to make
expenditures in accordance with the Budget as adopted, with the
exception of those expenditures which require prior City Council
approval in accordance with adopted City Ordinances , Rules and
Regulations . Such approval shall be secured as prescribed.
PASSED , APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of June ,
1985 .
