Appointments recommended by Mayor Houston to Planning
Commission

RECOMMENDATION: Confirm appointments recommended by Mayor Houston

FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None

DESCRIPTION: On January 23, 1995, by a consensus, the Council directed
Staff to delay new appointments to the Planning Commission until the Planning
Commission's deliberations related to the Homart Project were completed.
The Planning Commission has completed all consideration and deliberation related to the
Homart ProJect.
Mayor Houston has requested that the City Council now confirm the appointment of Steve
Lockhart and Don Johnson to the Planning Commission.
Staff recommends that the Council either confirm Mayor Houston's appointments to the
Planning Commission, or provide appropriate direction to Staff.
