DESCIUPTION: On an annual basis, the California ParKaUd .:Recreation Society,
District nI (Alameda and Contra Costa Counties) honors public agenciesf'or oumandingand innovative
achievements in recreation program development and in faoility design and park planning.
_~ is ple.ased to announce tl}at the Dublin Herita~e Center was chosen asa 1995 award recipient !n the
aclllty deSign and park planmng category (population .less than 50,000). One of the key factors m the
selection of the award was the involvement of the community in the planning process and the impact of
the project to the community. "
The award was presented to the City at the Annual Awards and InstaUati9n Banq~t ofCallfomia Park
and Recreation Society, DistricUIlheld on March 29,1996.
