DESCRIPTION: One of the City Council's High priority goals for Fiscal Year 2009-2010 is to explore the feasibility of creating an annual Elected Officials Summit of those public agencies/entities that support the citizens and businesses of Dublin. The Summit would include elected officials from the City of Dublin, Dublin Unified School District, Zone 7, Dublin San Ramon Services District, Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority, Las Positas Community College and the Commander of Camp Parks. Appointed officials of these entities have discussed the Summit and are appreciative of the City Council's support and would like to move forward with planning. A Steering Committee made up of several invited Elected Officials would be formed to determine details of the Summit such as agenda, date and location. Late winter or early spring have been suggested as favorable timeframes for the Summit date. NOTICING REQUIREMENTS/PUBLIC OUTREACH: Noticing not required. ATTACHMENTS: None Page 2 of 2
