SUBJECT: Designation of Agency Labor Negotiators -Unrepresented

RECOMMENDATION: That the City Council designate Mayor Sbranti and Vice Mayor
Hildenbrand as the City's representatives to discuss conditions of
employment for the City Manager.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None.
DESCRIPTION: This item provides for the designation of two members of the City
Council as the City's representatives to discuss conditions of employment for the City Manager. The
discussions will not include salary as City employees recently agreed to 0% salary increase during these
tough economic times.
Last year's designated team was former Mayor Janet Lockhart and current Mayor Sbranti. Mayor Sbranti
is recommending the appointment of Mayor Sbranti and Vice Mayor Hildenbrand to serve as the City's
representatives to negotiate with the City Manager.
RECOMMENDATION: That the City Council designate Mayor Sbranti and Vice Mayor
Hildenbrand as the City's representatives to discuss conditions of employment for the City Manager.
