A Regular Meeting of the Dublin Planning Commission was held on Tuesday, June 22,
2021, remotely via Zoom Video Communications. The meeting was called to order at 7:00
PM by Commission Chairperson Benson.

6.1 Outdoor Seating Zoning Ordinance Amendments (PLPA-2021-00024)
Kristie Wheeler, Assistant Community Development Director, introduced Principal
Planner, Michael Cass, to provide a presentation.
Michael Cass, Principal Planner, made a presentation and responded to questions
posed by the Commission.
Commission Chairperson Benson opened the public hearing.
Jesus Orozco, with Casa Orozco, provided public comment
Inge Houston, with Dublin Chamber of Commerce, provided public comment
John Samples, with INC 82, provided public comment
Commission Chairperson Benson closed the public hearing.
Kristie Wheeler, Assistant Community Development Director, responded to questions
posed by the Commission.
On a motion by Commissioner Grier, seconded by Commissioner Thalblum, the
Planning Commission approved staff’s recommendation and adopted:
RESOLUTION NO. 21 – 05
RECOMMENDING CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL OF AMENDMENTS TO DUBLIN
MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 8.12.050 (PERMITTED AND CONDITIONALLY
PERMITTED LAND USES), SECTION 8.76.080 (PARKING REQUIREMENTS BY USE
TYPE), SECTION 8.104.030 (SITE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW WAIVER), AND

Kristie Wheeler, Assistant Community Development Director, informed the Commission
that there are no agenda items scheduled for the July 13, 2021 meeting and it will be
cancelled.
Kristie Wheeler, Assistant Community Development Director, informed the Commission
that we will begin hybrid in-person/Zoom meetings on July 27, 2021. The Planning
Commission and Staff will attend the meeting in-person and the public is invited to attend
in-person or using the Zoom option.

The meeting was adjourned by Commission Chairperson Benson at 7:56 p.m.
