Thursday, February 6, 2020
A Regular Meeting of the Senior Center Advisory Committee was held on Thursday,
February 6, 2020, at the Dublin Senior Center. The meeting was called to order at 9:34
AM, by Chairperson Michele Wayland.

2. Oral Communications
2.1 A member of the public, Christine Hernandez, Director of Sales and Marketing for
Elegance at Dublin, gave an update on the opening and types of services to be
offered.
3. Consent Calendar
3.1. Senior Center Monthly Report for November and December 2019
CM Sevier pulled the report from consent for discussion. After discussion, the
Committee approved the report as received.

3.2. Minutes of the December 5, 2019 Regular Meeting of the Senior Center

7.1 Election of Chair Person and Vice Chair Person
The Senior Center Advisory Committee elected CM Michele Wayland to serve as
Chairperson and CM Christine Sevier to serve as Vice Chairperson for 2020 according
to the Bylaws and Rules of Procedures for the Committee.
RESULT: ADOPTED [UNANIMOUS]

8. Other Business
5.1 The Senior Center Advisory Committee members and Staff provided brief
reports on meetings attended and upcoming events.
CM Susan Miller will attend the February Parks and Community Services Commission
meeting and provide the Senior Advisory Committee report.
Recreation Coordinator Liz Elliott informed the committee about recent Senior Center
trips and programs, and attended the Dublin Senior Foundation meeting.

Being no further business, the meeting adjourned by CM Wayland at 10:29 AM.
