A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
APPROVING PA 87-065 STREET NAME CHANGE FOR
ALAMO CREEK DRIVE WITHIN TRACT 5511,
RENAMING SAID STREET TO "WILLOW CREEK DRIVE"
WHEREAS, Ordinance 4-83 of the Dublin City Council authorizes the
City Council to change the name of a street and establishes procedures for
street name changes; and
WHEREAS, the City received a request to change the name of Alamo
Creek Drive; and
use; and
WHEREAS, the addresses on Alamo Creek Drive are not currently in
WHEREAS, the street name change request was referred to the
appropriate public agencies for review and comment; and
WHEREAS, the public agencies have indicated their respective
concurrence with the proposed street name change; and
WHEREAS, the Dublin City Council considered both written and oral
testimonies presented by Staff and the general public concerning the proposed
street name change at the June 8, 1987, City Council meeting;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE DUBLIN CITY COUNNCIL DOES HEREBY RESOLVE TRAT:
A. The Street name change is in compliance with Sections 5-28.6
and 5-28.11 of the City's Municipal Code relating to the naming and numbering
of streets.
B. The street name change will not be detrimental to the public
health, safety or general welfare.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED TRAT THE Dublin City Council hereby approves
the street name change requested within Planning Application PA 87-065 renaming
Alamo Creek within Tract 5511 to Willow Creek Drive subject to the following
condition:
1. The Applicant shall pay all fees as may be required by public
agencies to cover the costs associated with the street name change incurred by
the agencies.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of June, 1987.
