A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICE OF THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO PURCHASE CERTAIN ITEMS
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin is always searching for ways
in which to provide services at the most economic price; and
WHEREAS, a part of the cost of municipal services
includes the cost of equipment, material, and supplies; and
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of General
Services provides a source for lower costs of equipment, material,
and supplies through volume purchases.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Dublin does hereby authorize the Office of
Procurement, Department of General Services of the State of
California to purchase materials. supplies, and equipment as
specifically requested for and on behalf of the City of Dublin
pursuant to Section 14814 Government Code. and that the City's
Purchasing Officer is hereby authorized and directed to sign and
deliver all necessary requests and other documents in connection
therewith for and on behalf of the City of Dublin.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of January,
1987.
