A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN'-
AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A CLAIM WITH THE
METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATiON COMMISSION
FOR ALLOCATION OF TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT (TDA) FUNDS
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1988-89
WHEREAS, the Transportation Development Act= (TDA), (PUC
C.odes Division 10, Part 11, Chapter'4!Section 99200 et. seq.)
provides for the disbursement of funds anddefinesthe limited
use of the funds to include the cost of paratransit services; and
WHEREAS, claimants requesting TDA funds must submit their
request to the =Metropolitan "Transportation Commission by April 1,
1988 (21 Cal. Ad. Code Section 6630.); and
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin is authorized to be a claimant
and required TDA funds for the!purpose of defraying a portion of
· the costs associated with Paratransit Services for fiscalyear
1988-89.
NOW, THEREFORE,'BE IT RESOLVED that the. City Manager or
.Finance Director is authorized to execute and file'the TDA
Article 4.5 and 8-TRANSIT claimant's form and all necessary
documents with theMTC to satisfy the claiming requirements; and
FURTHERMORE BE IT RESOLVED that the MTC be requested to
grant the allocations of funds as specified inthe Claim
documents.
PASSED, APPROVEDAND ADOPTED the 14thday of March, 1988.
