A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED
AND ABANDONMENT OF STORM DRAIN EASEMENT
PARCEL MAP 518
WHEREAS, the County of Alameda acquired a blanket drainage
easement over a number of downtown area Parcel Maps on May 10, 1961; and
WHEREAS, Alameda County was required by said deed to quitclaim
this easement to Volk-McLain Communities, Inc., the original owner, or its
successor, after the area was subdivided and/or other adequate drainage
facilities were provided; and
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin succeeded to the County's interest in
said easement upon its incorporation; and
WHEREAS, the area has been subdivided and storm drains
constructed with permanent easements; and
WHEREAS, the property owner has requested that the City execute a
Quitclaim Deed for abandonment of the blanket easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Dublin authorizes the Mayor of the City of Dublin to execute said Quitclaim
Deed.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 8th day of February, 1988.
