A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF PROPERTY KNOWN AS APN 941-101-1-23
PLATA WAY FOR THE SUM OF $250.00 AND EXECUTION OF
PROPOSED CHAPTER 8 AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the piece of property known as APN 941-101-1-23, an
approximately 1,796 square foot strip of land located northerly of Mape Park,
easterly of Nielsen School, and westerly of the intersection of Plata Way and
San Sabana Road, is to be sold by the County of Alameda as tax defaulted; and
WHEREAS, the minimum bid required to purchase said piece of
property is $250.00; and
WHEREAS, purchase of the property represents a benefit to the
City of Dublin because it provides access from the street to Nielsen School
and from Nielsen School to Mape Park and the adjacent neighborhood;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Dublin authorizes purchase of said property for the minimum bid amount of
$250.00 and authorizes execution of the required Chapter 8 agreement when
received from the Alameda County Tax Collector.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 25th day of January, 1988.
